Travel Schlepp and Paris

Once Debbie, Karl, and I went to France.  They were meeting with people from the World Bank.  This is the group that tries to figure out how to use water more carefully in the desert.  That way they can grow more food and the people won't be poor.  This shows Debbie getting ready to give her presentation in a huge conference room.  About 80 people showed up.

We had some time to see the city of Paris, so we went to the Notre Dame cathedral.  It was different than Stephansdom in Vienna but very large and beautiful.  Here Karl and I have our picture taken by Debbie.

And this is what it looks like if you look straight up.

We went shopping for souveniers and had lunch on top of the store.  Debbie took this picture of us with the Paris Opera behind us.  That's where the musical Phantom of the Opera takes place.

On the way back to the hotel, we walked through an amusement park.  There was a carrosel that I got to ride

And we went way up high in this huge ferris wheel.

You can see the Seine River and the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

We also went to the Louvre, a famous art museum, but that is a whole other group of photographs.
After Paris, Debbie and Karl and I flew to Vienna.
